Experience the Seasons
Although this is difficult to describe without actually seeing it for yourself, one of the most beautiful and captivating things about Franklin as well as the overall Nashville metropolitan area, is that the whole place gets to experience four distinct and colorful seasons. The summer is green, lush, and warm with plenty of sun-filled days in which to enjoy the mountains, parks, and sports that the city offers. Right when September arrives, so does the color! The mountains and trees turn vibrant shades of red, yellow, and orange; and the air starts to feel crisp and cool, making this one of the most beautiful places to be in the United States during Autumn. Three months later the feelings of holiday cheer can be sensed as the land gets a light touch of white snow. Franklin averages about 5” of snow per year, so it isn’t enough to get in the way of work and life, but it is enough to add that touch of winter that makes the season special. Finally, in spring, all of the dogwood trees, azaleas, and flowers bloom and paint the landscape in purple, pink, red, blue, and every other bright color you can imagine. Yes, the seasons in Franklin are all here, with weather and temperatures that remain temperate enough to enjoy them all!
